Cookie Friday has been taken over again – this time by lovely blogger Judith from “Schokohimmel” (aka. Chocolate Heaven) – she made cookies that are…. who would have guessed…made with chocolate! Yay! I love that she is sticking to her theme :))
It is Cookie Friday here on the blog (and hopefully all over the world), I have a lovely guest from Hamburg and there is Nutella involved! What can I say: Bazinga! ;))
I postet brownies quite often lately – and every time I told you these or those are the best ones ever :P Well – up to that point they definitely were the best ones ever! Until I tried another recipe… same in this case – these are soooooo goood – oh boy! ;))
No, you did not miss Cookie Friday :P
There are so many good cookies out there – sometimes you need more than one day to celebrate them – so today is Cookie Saturday! Yay!
T.G.I.C.F.! Thank God it’s Cookie Friday! :)
The other day there was a little discussion with some food bloggers about ingredients for cooking and baking. Is it ok to use pre-made stuff for cooking or baking? Cake mixes, custard powder… basically everything that comes out of a bag and you just add one or two things and then it’s done…? ;P Well – of course it is ok, but I would not use that stuff, neither do the bloggers I talked to. A cake mix is NEVER really needed – you can do that quick and easy yourself – same thing for many other ingredients you can use for cooking and baking. If you look under the category “homemade” here, you can find some recipes and easy replacements.
Earlier this week I recommended making some Mini Red Velvet Cupcakes for your loved one(s) on Valentine’s day.
It is clearly a good choice – there is absolutely nothing wrong about that. But let’s be honest – if you REALLY love your (maybe soon to be) partner/lover, you should make this cake. As you all know – Nutella is pure love in a glass jar. So this cake is pure love, because it is made with one full glass jar of Nutella! ;)
