Today I am welcoming my second guest for my blogevent RE•CREATE – it is Andrea from Zimtkeks & Apfeltarte. She brought some delicious banana bread along. Yummy. I love guests that bring some cake – they can come back anytime they want ;)
I think today’s bake is enough for at least one complete soccer team – probably even more. It’s a delicious yeast wreath with marzipan and poppy seeds. Sounds good? Coffee anybody? ;)
Some of you might know that I am originally from the South of Germany – I was not born in Berlin, just ended up here some years ago ;) The South of Germany is often mistaken with Bavaria, but I am from an area called Baden. The most beautiful place on earth :P
One thing on my to-do-list for this year was baking more bread. Somehow id did not happen a lot so far and the list of recipes I wanted to make is still quite long ;) At least I can take one off the list today – a bread made with chia seeds and walnuts.
We have something savory again for a change! Yay :) It was about time after having these awesome but very sweet Brownies last Monday for the 4th of July. Oh boy that was heavy stuff… well today there are delicious pesto breads or braided pesto loaves – whatever you wanna call them – that is up to you ;)
Do you need a delicious snack for your next evening on the terrace or in your garden? Or maybe something to watch the next game (football, soccer or whatever) on tv with friends? Well – I guess there is something I can recommend. I have a really nice pizza bread for you today – something that will put a smile on everybody’s face – and probably some additional fat on your hips :P
